Endurance Estates purchased with a high net worth individual and their family under an LLP structure, this prime retail unit in the centre of Cambridge.  The investment was purchased within 3 weeks from offer to completion without recourse to any debt or external finance.  The retail unit was let to Blacks who following acquisition went into administration.  Endurance managed the property through the administration and organised for the lease to be forfeited, vacant possession obtained and a new letting was entered into with Jack Wills.  Endurance is supervising the refurbishment of the property by Jack Wills who aim to open a flagship store for Christmas 2012.

To the rear of the Sidney Street premises there is a former cinema that is met to a major leisure operator who intends to create a new entertainment venue for Cambridge.

Endurance has been lobbying the Council to improve the amenity of the area and in particular the potential for tourism under the adjacent Hobson’s Passage that originally was the location of Hobson’s Stables where the term “Hobson’s Choice” originated.
