Official Opening of The Gade Residential Gardens in Hemel Hempstead by Dacorum Borough Council's New Leadership

Cllr. Ron Tindall, leader of Dacorum Borough Council, and Cllr. Andrew Williams recently gathered at a housing development in Hemel Hempstead to plant a tree to celebrate the official opening of the communal gardens of The Gade, a development of 150 private sale and affordable apartments in the centre of the Hertfordshire town.

Award-winning housebuilder, The Hill Group, was selected to deliver the new apartments, and the completion of the new homes earlier this year marks a significant milestone in the wider project's success.

Forming an integral part of the Gade Zone’s riverside regeneration, Endurance Estates led the project in collaboration with Dacorum Borough Council and RG Carter. In addition to the new homes delivered by Hill, the project also included the demolishing of the old council building and the delivery of the new Forum building, which now houses the council's administrative offices and provides space for the voluntary sector, including the registry office.

Greg Hill, Deputy Chief Executive of The Hill Group, comments, “Working hand in hand with Endurance Estates, RG Carter, and Dacorum Borough Council has been a true testament to the power of partnership and shared vision, and we are delighted to officially open The Gade Residential Gardens for the residents of Hemel Hempstead. The completion of the new apartments here is a proud achievement for all involved, and we are thrilled to see the positive impact it will have on the community. This project exemplifies what can be accomplished when organisations come together with a common goal of creating vibrant and sustainable spaces, and we look forward to continuing our collaboration on future ventures.”

At the celebration, Cllr. Ron Tindall and Andrew Williams extended their gratitude to Endurance Estates, RG Carter, and Hill for their dedicated efforts in realising the Gade regeneration. Additionally, Cllr. Tindall acknowledged Cllr. Williams, who conceived the idea and oversaw the project's inception and implementation under his leadership.
