Endurance Estates secured planning permission for 153 units across 3 sites. The scheme involved facilitating development on three edge-of-town sites, one of which had previously been rejected by a Local Plan Inspector. Endurance Estates had to address previous technical concerns raised and present a package of local benefits.
The sales of the sites secured a £10 million contribution towards a new sixth form centre, music school and a series of boarding house improvements.
The Britten Building (music school and sixth form centre) was formally opened on 27 April 2017.
