Endurance Estates promoted land north of Ely through the local plan process and subsequently obtained planning permission for a 1200 house urban extension. As part of the delivery process, Endurance Estates worked with Cambridgeshire County Council on the early delivery of a new primary school along with infrastructure to serve the first phases of development. The school opened in 2016. Hopkins Homes completed the purchase of the first phase of 199 units in 2017.
